1. Scope
This policy applies to the Pomeloop: Fruit Merge iOS and iPadOS application and this website. It does not apply to third-party websites, advertisements, or services that have their own privacy practices.
2. Information handled
Information stored locally
The Game may store your current game state, high scores, selected physics mode, aggregate gameplay progress, tool inventory, daily reward limits, and audio settings in local device storage. This information is used to preserve your experience and is not transmitted to create a Pomeloop account.
Information processed for optional ads and network operations
When the Game requests ad configuration or loads an optional rewarded ad, we and our advertising partners may process information such as:
- device and app information, including device model, operating system version, app version, language, and bundle identifier;
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP address;
- advertising identifiers, such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), only where available and permitted;
- ad delivery and interaction information, such as ad requests, impressions, clicks, completion, and reward events;
- network, diagnostics, crash, fraud-prevention, and performance information; and
- consent or privacy preference signals.
| Category | Typical purpose | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Gameplay and settings | Save progress, scores, inventory, and preferences | Created through your use of the Game; stored locally |
| Identifiers and device data | Ad delivery, measurement, consent, security, and fraud prevention | Your device and advertising SDKs |
| Ad interaction data | Confirm rewarded-ad completion, reporting, and ad performance | Your interaction with an optional ad |
| Diagnostics and network data | Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve ad-related services | Your device, network, and service providers |
3. How information is used
Information may be used to provide and maintain the Game, save local progress, apply your settings, load and grant optional rewarded-ad benefits, request advertising permission, measure ad delivery, prevent abuse or fraud, diagnose technical issues, comply with law, and protect users and services.
Pomeloop does not require you to create an account, provide your name, or submit gameplay content to a Pomeloop server.
4. Advertising and tracking
The Game includes optional rewarded advertising. An ad is shown only after you choose an available “Watch Ad” option. Closing an ad before the advertising provider confirms completion does not grant the related reward.
On iOS 14 or later, the Game may present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the IDFA or allowing tracking as defined by Apple. You may deny this request. Denying tracking does not prevent you from using core gameplay, although ads may be less relevant or some ad-based rewards may be unavailable.
Advertising partners may use their own technologies and may process data under their own privacy policies. Their practices may include contextual advertising, ad measurement, frequency control, fraud prevention, or personalized advertising where permitted by your choices and applicable law.
6. Your choices
- Optional ads: You can play without selecting a rewarded-ad button.
- Tracking permission: You can allow or deny Apple’s tracking prompt and later change the setting in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Reset local data: You can remove locally stored gameplay data by deleting the Game. Reinstalling may create a fresh local profile.
- Device controls: Your device may provide additional privacy, advertising, location, or identifier controls.
7. Children’s privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly ask children to provide names, email addresses, or account information in the Game. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Parents or guardians should review device-level privacy and tracking controls and supervise a child’s use of optional advertising features.
8. Retention, international processing, and security
Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is removed through app deletion, device erasure, or operating-system controls. Advertising and service providers determine retention periods for data they process under their own policies and legal obligations.
Providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms or safeguards are used by the relevant provider.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information, and to withdraw consent or appeal a privacy decision. Because Pomeloop does not maintain user accounts and most gameplay data remains on your device, we may not be able to identify data held by an advertising partner from an email request alone.
To make a request concerning information controlled by us, contact us using the address below. For information controlled independently by an advertising provider, you may need to contact that provider directly. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Game, providers, or legal requirements. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the Game or through the App Store listing when appropriate.
